Asking is pretty much one of the most harmless things you can do.
Why are things this way? Who decided that? What's my day going to be like? Why did you do that? How did you accomplish it? When will you be out of the bathroom?
None of these questions, as I typed them, have any emotion nor intent in them. But I bet that as you read them, you heard each question in a certain tone in your head. Consider the assumptions you made in each case and consider how much that colored your reaction.
Questions are powerful and wonderful things. They help us accept and understand.
